INGREDIENTS
Stir together flour, milk, baking powder and salt in large bowl.
Knead until smooth on lightly floured surface.
Rub oil over dough.
Cover and let sit for 30 minutes.
Pull off 10 to 12 equal pieces of dough
Pat or roll out dough on lightly floured surface to form 1/4 8-inch thick circles.
Heat 2 inches oil in Dutch oven, heavy kettle or deep-fat fryer in 380 degrees.
I use my big fry pan and carefully lay the bread in the oil letting it cook until desired
doneness (by golden and crisp) and then turning it over and cooking the other side.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Keep warm in 200 degree over ( if you can keep them from eating it as fast as it is done).
Serve with butter, honey, powdered suger
Make them larger and use as bread for hamburgers.
Or use a taco shell.
3 cups of flour
1 ½ cusps of warm milk
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon oil
Vegetable oil for deep frying
